Plant Dyeing Workshop

Saturday, April 7, 2018, 8:00 PM - 10:00 PM

You may have heard of indigo dyeing or tea dyeing already, but what about beets? Or dandelions? Or onions? Yep, most elements in your garden or kitchen have been used through the centuries to dye fabric beautiful hues. Soft, subtle and delightfully chemical-free, plant dyeing is a craft that can bring your linens and stationary to the next level. We are delighted to be learning from Loren, the lead designer of the on-point home decor company, Ren Co. She will be sharing her expertise on how to utilize different vegetation to create natural dyes for your home and crafts. Each attendee will be creating their very own tea towel collection to take home. As with all of our workshops, their will be food and non-alcoholic beverages provided. Feel free to bring a bottle of wine, if you are so inclined. Make sure to arrive a few minutes early. We will be starting with a meet and greet while we enjoy the lovely food spread, and then we will be getting into learning and doing! Let's create! Each attendee will bring home two kitchen towels at the end of the workshop.
