Artpark People

Tuesday, February 18, 2020, 3:00 AM

Encouraging visitors to engage and connect with on site artists since 1974, Artpark provides a unique environment for those craving culture away from the whirring city. Located in Lewiston, New York the outdoor venue opens itself to artists, musicians, and performers seeking a spot to reflect and create. During the summer seasons, Artpark serves as an immersive experience, inviting the public to observe the artists as they work. With a heavy emphasis on outdoor space and environmental influence, Artpark asserts itself as a cultural and communal haven for creatives. Artpark People observes the vibrant scene and captures candid interactions between artist and onlookers in the first years of operation in the early 1970s. Monday, February 17, 2020 at 7 PM. Suggested donation at the door: $5 members, $7 nonmembers includes complimentary beverage. 53 minutes, English, 1976. Directed by Michael Blackwood. The San Luis Obispo Museum of Art recognizes that film is a visual art form and is delighted to bring you a series of outstanding documentaries inspired by our current exhibitions.
