Cal Poly Bach Week Finale: Mass in B Minor
This marks the 10th year of this culminating Bach Week concert. Members of Cal Poly's Chamber Choir, Symphony and faculty join with guest artists to perform J.S. Bach's monumental Mass in B Minor, BWV 232. This work, composed and compiled through much of Bach's life, is one of the most important and inspired choral-orchestral pieces of all time. There will be a pre-concert lecture presented by John T. Brobeck, director of graduate studies at the University of Arizona, and Baroque music specialist, at 5:30 p.m. in Room 218 of the Davidson Music Center (No. 45).
