SB Funk Zone Live is happening…
a bimonthly “arts, music, food & libations” series starting on March 29th.
Similar to the Downtown Santa Barbara1st Thursday monthly events only more
fun-ky. Funk Zone fun-ky venues will open their doors late from 5-8 pm
20 local artisan businesses are on board for the first event.
Each creative venue with have an art element featuring local artists, bands, and
or craftsmen.
La Lieff Wines & We Want The Funk will be hosting live music by Niel Arickson
on Gray Avenue. Jules (Jules By The Sea), Andy (Lancaster Wood Prints), and
Jess (Jess Conti Leather Goods) will be open late in the famous blue Quonset
Hut; see Jess sewing in her studio. Also on Santa Barbara Street, Rincon
Brewery will have art prints for sale celebrating the life of the late artist Chris
Potter. Anacapa St.’s CommenUnity will be pouring Cutler Artisan Spirits and
you can check out D.J. Javier’s lucky mural at Lucky Penny. Too much Funk to

SB Locals of all ages are invited for the festivities.
Everyone involved promises a unique and eclectic experience for all.
