Ever wanted to get your hands into the field of natural dye? Now’s your chance! Pura Luna Apothecary welcomes Danielle Renee Art to guide us in a sacred tradition of natural dye using our plant ally’s right here in the shop!

Learn how to tie dye tea towels using natural pigments from herbal tea! No experience, no worries. We will talk through the instructions step-by-step to create a customized set of cotton tea towels. In this hands-on workshop we’ll discuss the spiritual and medicinal benefits of the herbs, berries and flowers we’re using to extract pigments. You will learn the art of Shibori (Japanese folding) and traditional tie dye techniques. You will also get to create a bag of tea that mirrors the herbs you used to create your tea towels. So you can sip the herbs that helped you create your tie dye masterpiece at home.
