Wisdom of the Fungi Workshop

Join Pura Luna Apothecary and Alchemia for an insightful evening of calling in the spirit, the medicine, and wisdom of Fungi.

For this workshop we will go over the health benefits of some of the more popular medicinal mushrooms like a Chaga, Cordyceps, Lion’s Mane, & Reishi.

We will sample and sip teas of these powerful mushroom allies to connect to their wisdom and go over some of the awesome mushroom products we carry in the shop.

Connie of Alchemia will de-mystify micro and macrodosing Psilocybin “magic mushrooms”. We will begin with the history of the practice in Indigenous cultures and the mushroom medicine woman-Maria Sabina. We will discuss the differences between a micro-dose and a macro-dose, and the benefits for cognitive, emotional, & physical health. We will also discuss the importance of set and setting, mindset, environment, and essential integration practices.

We will conclude with micro-dosing dosage, protocols, potential drawbacks, finding your “right dosage” and interactions with psychotropic medication.

You will come away from this workshop feeling well versed on mushrooms as medicine, as allies, and how to integrate them in your daily life.
