The band recently sold-out four consecutive concerts at the Lobero Theatre\, which included tributes to Neil Young; Crosby\, Stills\, Nash & Young; and the Allman Brothers; and showcased the Kings’ original compositions. Later this year\, they appear with the Santa Barbara Symphony at the Granada Theatre in “Moondance\,” dedicated to music by Van Morrison. \nSalty Strings was formed in 2018 when guitarist Zach Witter posted on Craigslist looking for bluegrass players in the area. All five members sing\, and their self-titled album (recorded in a garage-turned-studio on the Mesa) was released in February 2023. Several members have left the area\, but the band reunites for this show. \nChristian and Company is the latest project of Santa Barbara guitarist and keyboardist Christian Love\, son on Beach Boy Mike Love. He opens the show with his Central Coast-inspired rock and roll\, reggae\, and classic surf music.
